The group started with Asian Thai Foods(P) Ltd.in 1999 (about 16 years ago) in Biratnagar, Nepal. The corporate office is located in Kathmandu and the first factory was set up in Biratnagar, Nepal.

Asian Thai Foods is a joint venture between two Nepal Based Groups, the Sarda Group and the Jaju Group. Asian Thai Foods’ products are consumed in more than 150 cities and townships in Nepal, in major cities and towns of Northern and North Eastern states of India and over 10 cities and townships in Bhutan.The products are sold over 25,000 retail counters in the region. The Nepal plant has a capacity of producing 6,00,000 packets of 75 gms noodles per day (approx..15,000 MTPA). RumPum, 2PM, Phataphat, PikVik, Phuche and Mama are a few popular brands produced and marketed by the Group. Saraogi group based in Jhansi(Uttar Pradesh) since 1980s and lead by Mr. Pawan Kumar Saraogi has had varied successful business experience in different fields ranging from Manufacture of Plastic moulded furniture to Stone crushing Units to Manufacture of RCC Poles and Pipes. Annual turnover ranging between INR 100-125 crores, the group is a conglomerate of family personnel working in tandem to diversify and enter the business of manufacturing of noodles in collaboration with the Jaju and Sarda Group
Plant Location
ATFL’s manufacturing unit is being implemented in Village Kathwara Bakshi ka Talab Lucknow(Uttar Pradesh) on land measuring 75000 square feet. The area has all necessary infrastructure facilities such as road, rail, telephone and power. Transportation facilities to access various markets are readily available. Both skilled and unskilled labour is available in the area. The state has potential for food processing units with the availability of benefits and exemptions from the state and central governments.
